For nearly 100 years, the MGA has been committed to providing opportunities for children - boys and girls - interested in playing the game of golf. To this day, the number of juniors playing golf is surging. Junior golf continues to grow by leaps and bounds across Massachusetts. The First Tee of Massachusetts and other various junior golf programs at clubs all across the state continue to do their part to help create a new generation of golfers. Additionally, the MGA continues to host one of the more competitive junior golf events, the Massachusetts State Junior Championship, for more accomplished players.

In making golf more accessible for juniors, the MGA purchased MGA Links at Mamantapett (Norton, MA) in 2003 to give its junior golf programs a more permanent home. Since then, MGA Links has become the premier destination spot in Eastern Massachusetts for youngsters looking to get involved in golf. For the past two years, MGA Links has been named “Best of Norton” in the Golf Course category for its commitment to making a positive impact on the local community.

The future has never looked so bright for junior golf!
