Eligibility
Entries are open to two-person teams of amateur
golfers who hold membership in an MGA
member club and have an up-to-date combined
MGA/USGA GHIN Handicap Index
not exceeding 6.0 (as determined by the March
30, 2006 Handicap Update) or have completed
their handicap certification as defined on the
Entry Form. Complete conditions and regulations are available here (PDF).
The field is limited to 180 Teams. A team will be considered exempt if either team member garnered any points in the 2005 MGA Player of the Year Standings, provided the handicap eligibility is met. The top 20 teams plus ties from the 2005 Four-Ball and the past five winners will also be exempt provided the handicap eligibility is met. The balance of the field will be determined on the basis of handicap index after the close of entries.
