News Release

For Immediate Release: February 2, 2008

Norton, MA – Golf enthusiasts of all ages and abilities will enjoy a new feature to the MGA web site in 2008 - the MGA Blog Spot!

In hopes of encouraging warmer weather to make its way to the Northeast by talking about our favorite game, the MGA today announced the launch of its first-of-its-kind MGA Blog Spot.

MGA Executive Director Joe Sprague will be posting his thoughts and comments throughout the season for all to enjoy. The first blog entry was posted today and provides you with an inside look at The Golf Industry Show, the industry's largest and most comprehensive conference and trade show.

Industry representatives that take part in the annual conference and show include the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America (GCSAA), National Golf Course Owners Association (NGCOA), Club Managers Association of America (CMAA), American Society of Golf Course Architects (ASGCA), Golf Course Builders Association of America (GCBAA) and the National Golf Foundation (NGF).

Throughout the season, Sprague will provide his unique insight as a veteran golf administrator. He will comment on all relevant issues that affect our game.

The MGA welcomes feedback and questions from the golfing public. Please feel free to send us your questions to info@mgalinks.org. Joe will do his best to respond to all questions and comments in his MGA Blog Spot.
