Headline: Alistair Catto Represents Massachusetts Well at 2007 U.S. Senior Amateur Championship
Norton, MA – Congratulations are due to Alistair Catto (The Orchards GC) for advancing to the quarterfinals of the 2007 U.S. Senior Amateur Championship.
Catto, a veteran MGA competitor who won the 1991 Massachusetts Public Links Championship, advanced to the quarterinals following a 3 & 2 victory over Larry Grant. In the quarterfinals, Catto battled Frank Ford III (Charleston, SC) before falling in 19 Holes.
This year marked the first time that Catto had competed in the U.S. Senior Amateur Championship. His wife Bonnie is also enjoying a successful summer of golf as one week earlier she had competed in the 2007 U.S. Senior Women's Amateur Championship.
