Headline: Scarafoni & Eisenstock Prevail in Gross Division at MGA President-Professional Tournament

Sutton, MA – The inclement weather at Pleasant Valley Country Club in Sutton may have shortened the annual President-Professional Tournament to nine holes, but it didn't stop the MGA from crowing new champions.

As a result of the shortened, 9-hole competition, each team received one point for a bogey, two for a par, four for a birdie and eight for an eagle.

Earning top honors in the Gross Division was the team of Todd Scarafoni and Marc Eisenstock of Mount Pleasant Country Club with a score of 23 points. Three points back in second place were the host team of Gary Young and Bob Woodbury. James Antonelli and Kevin McGuire of Marshfield Country Club claimed third place with 19 points after winning a match of cards over Country Club of Halifax's Bob Giusti and Roger McGovern.

In the Net Division, it was The International Golf Club team of Chris Kasheta and Dan Weadock who collected a total of 29 points. Chip Johnson and Phil Glassanos of Hatherly Country Club were second with 26 points. Rounding out the top three were Rich Hasenfus and Paul Robey of Needham Golf Club.
