The day after he earned to the right to compete at U.S. Open Sectional qualifying, Frank Dully II got an early taste of victory today at the 2002 President-Professional Tournament held at Spring Valley CC in Sharon, Massachusetts. Dully paired up with Kernwood president Rich Bane and turned in a low gross score of 73 for top honors in that category.

The team from Thorny Lea GC - Peter Norton and president William Bearce -- edged Dick Logan and Scott Trethewey from the Milton-Hoosic Club by one stroke as the pair finished with a low net score of 68.

The President-Professional Tournament is an annual tournament run by the Massachusetts Golf Association that brings together the presidents and golf professionals at MGA Member Clubs from across the state.
