The Massachusetts Golf Association (MGA) elected its slate of officers for the 2002-2003 season at its Annual Meeting held at Longmeadow Country Club.

Michael J. Reilly of Dedham Country & Polo Club succeeds Cary R. Jubinville as the 50th President of the organization. Reilly, who has been an active member of the MGA for the past decade both as a committee member and rules official, has been instrumental in developing and growing the ForeKids Golf Program - the junior development initiative aimed at bringing golf and its inherent values to the inner-city youth throughout the state.

The ForeKids Golf Program was founded by Reilly in 1993 and has experienced unprecedented growth. The program has served more than 20,000 children through a series of summer clinics and continuing education sessions in 17 Bay State cities.

Jay H. Tracy of Hyannisport Club was elected to the position of First Vice President. Richard P. Osborn of Cohasset Golf Club was elected to the post of Second Vice President, while Paul R. Pohl of Longmeadow Country Club, Stephen R. Dooley of Winchester Country Club and Robert W. Holmes, Jr. of Far Corner Golf Course will continue at their respective positions of Secretary, Treasurer and Counsel.

Three new members were also elected to the MGA Executive Committee: Clarence J. Bennett of Twin Hills Country Club, Robert W. Collins of Taconic Golf Club and William E. Sullivan of Segregansett Country Club.
