The Massachusetts Golf Association's 38th Annual Spring Conference "The Future of Golf in Massachusetts" will be held on Thursday, March 9, 2000 at The Westin Copley Place Boston at 2:30p.m.

This year's Spring Conference will feature the renowned author James Dodson, best known for his book Final Rounds and Arnold Palmer's biography. Dodson is also known for his work as a contributing editor and awarding winning columnist for Golf Magazine. The theme of the afternoon's program - "The Future of Golf in Massachusetts" will highlight the following presentations:

"Equal Access Litigation - Still a Hot Issue"
Susanne R. Wegrzyn, Executive Vice President, National Club Association and Henry T. Goldman, Esquire, Kirkpatrick & Lockhart, LLP

"A Strategic Perspective on the Future of Golf and its Impact on the Massachusetts Economy" Richard L. Norton, Vice President, Research & Consulting, The National Golf Foundation.

The Massachusetts Golf Association's Spring Conference has become an annual "Rite of Spring" to kickoff the upcoming golf season. The event is open to the public and is typically attended by member club directors, committee chairpersons, staff, and member golfers. All attendees are invited to a cocktail reception immediately following the program.
