The New England Golf Association elected its slate of officers for the 2000 season at its annual meeting conducted recently at Dedham Country and Polo Club.

Michael Knox of Searsport, Me was elected President: Wilfred (Bill) Hill of Quechee, VT as First Vice President; Dennis N. Greenwood of Greenland, NH as Second Vice President; Harry B. McCracken, Jr. of Westwood, MA as Secretary-Treasurer; Robert G. Dowling III of Centerville, MA as Tournament Director; and Andrew C. Bailey, Esq., of Dedham, MA as Counsel.

In addition, Daniel L. Hurley of Andover, MA; Thomas W. Lane of Orange, CT; and Scott W. Cooke of Warwick, RI were elected as members of the Executive Committee.

The New England Golf Association, a non-profit corporation founded in 1926, is dedicated to promoting amateur golf in the New England area.
