Today marked the third of six qualifiers on the MGA Championship schedule. To date, a total of 57 competitors have now advanced to the two-day championship and will join the qualifiers in the three-remaining events and those who have earned exemption based on previous MGA Championship success.

Leading the charge at Cranberry Valley GC were co-medalists Joe Walker (Dennis Pines GC) and Bram Daly (Miacomet GC), who both finished with scores of 3-under par 69 to top Monday’s field. Walker is a multi-time champion in the Massachusetts golf circuit while Daly is a former Division I golfer for Elon University.

In addition to the 21 competitors who qualified, an additional two competitors who finished with scores of 6-over par 78, or one stroke above the last qualifying number, will be listed as alternates and will be placed on the alternate list per the alternate policy that is available on the MGA Policies and Procedures Page.
