Norton, MA — And the winner is...

Last year marked the official launch of The First Tee's "Campaign for 10 Million Young People", an ambitious initiative to grow the game over the next five years.

Through this program, local chapters like The First Tee of Massachusetts, the MGA has been given the task of growing its donor database in hopes of expanding its reach across the state.

As part of this program, Titleist, a longtime partner of the MGA, provided a set of irons to give away to one lucky donor to The First Tee of Massachusetts.

More than 450 donors contributed to The First Tee of Massachusetts in 2012, and our lucky winner chosen at random was Brian Kaveney of Westwood. Brian is a member of Norfolk Golf Club (Westwood) and graciously accepted the prize earlier this month.

"The First Tee is a great program for the future golfers and I hope that my donation and all donations to this program make a positive impact on kids," said Kaveney.

Congratulations to Brian and thanks to everyone who donated to The First Tee of Massachusetts in 2012!
