Headline: An Early Holiday Gift for Massachusetts Golfers... Winter 2009-10 Issue of MassGolfer™ magazine Now Available For All GHIN Handicap Holders

Norton, MA — The holiday season is almost upon us which means that the fourth issue of the MGA's heralded publication –MassGolfer™ magazine – is set for release to households across the state and beyond.

The Winter 2009-2010 issue (shown right) is one that should not be missed as it takes readers on a journey back in time. Highlights from the last decade of great moments in amateur golf here in Massachusetts are revisited in a spread that features 240 photos! In addition, two very deserving Players of the Decade are announced as a way to cap off another spectacular 10 years of amateur golf.

As a way of bringing the magazine to all GHIN Handicap holders in Massachusetts, PDF copies of all features have been made available below.

Still Booming After All These Years
You surely recall exactly where you were at midnight, December 31, 1999 as we celebrated the dawn of the ‘new millenium' (no matter that, mathematically speaking, we all celebrated such a year too soon!). In the Bay State and around the golf world, the talk at the time focused on the recently contested 33rd Ryder Cup Matches at The Country Club with Team USA's stirring victory. Jarring as it may seem, the new millenium's amazing first 10 years for local golf is also now passing. The good news is — despite some ill effects of the current global economic crisis — the game remains healthy and booming in Massachusetts.
